We started Roc Creatives because we kept seeing the same problem at every wedding: four different vendors, four different vibes, and someone always watching the clock. So we built the team we wished couples could hire.

Our story -
How it all started.
Over ten years ago, my now-wife, Jen, and I decided to get married. We were so excited to plan our wedding and see our wedding day vision come to life. Over the course of a year, we picked out our venue and all of our vendors and worked hard to get everything perfect together. And then the day of our wedding came...
And everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. There was a car accident near our wedding venue, our guests were sitting on the freeway fully stopped behind a life flight helicopter, and everyone was almost 3 hours late! We had hired all of our vendors for the hours we thought we needed them for, and when we learned we needed them longer, we begged them all to stay. Only our venue, bartender, and officiant stayed. This was back in the day when everyone still used flip phones, so most of our wedding photos were taken on flip phones and brick phones.
It may be a bit cheesy, but our wedding day mishap is the fire that fueled our passion for creating ultimate wedding experiences for couples like you. We decided to be completely different from other wedding vendors. You should not have to be an expert at getting married (that would be a red flag, right!?), so why not make it easy to hire your wedding team?
We ask all the questions to help you plan your wedding, from your style and timeline to the little details. We offer Complete Coverage time because we want to be there for as long as you need us, no matter what happens on your wedding day. And we include everything in our packages, including taxes and "fees" (we don't do fees). Our team includes photographers, videographers, DJs, photo booth attendants, and so much more. Although our business has expanded to serve Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and the Finger Lakes, our passion and motto remain the same: to deliver the highest quality wedding experiences.

We will stay with you for the entire day. Our time is truly unlimited.
Most photography companies charge by the hour or sell packages with a set number of hours, and you pay for every minute of extra time. The way we see it, your wedding is not an hourly event, it is your most significant celebration. We will be there to capture moments all day, from getting ready to your grand send-off.

The price on the website is the price you pay.
We typically take a 25% down payment, and you can pay in any increments up to 30 days before your wedding date. We do our best to make it easy and flexible for you, because we know you have a lot going on.

You choose your vibe, shots, and editing style. Your wedding, your way.
We have multiple shooters on full-time staff, and many of them have been with us for years. They are employees, not contractors. Our in-house editing team will color grade and frame your photos in the style you choose. Want a light and airy ceremony and a true-to-eye reception, or a dark and moody full album? We edit personalized to your style. It is completely bespoke.

Rain or shine, no matter what happens, we will be at your wedding.
If you work with a company that has only one or two photographers, what happens if they get sick or get stuck in traffic behind a car accident? We have multiple full-time staff available as backups in case the worst happens. We are going to be there, no matter what.
